Description: WWI GERMAN ARMY STEIN AND LARGE PIPE “RES. AMERIKANER” (Reserve Regiment American) ? From what I understand there were a lot of German Americans who joined the German forces in World War One and were made as a reserve regiment ? If so this is a very rare Stein. Stein Stands 6 1/4” high. Bottom dia. Is 4”. Beautiful original stein just missing the pewter cover which can be replaced with a reproduction lid. There are no chips or cracks to the stein. Some of the gold lettering has been rubbed off from cleaning over time. The pipe is 8” long with a large 3” dia. Top and a 1 1/4” center bowl. The bowl has a small chip at the top. Bakelite or vegetable plastic molded mouth piece. Protection for the fatherland I stood on the edge of the Moselle River
