Description: Beautiful set of Six demitasse Sterling silver spoons by W&S Sorensen, Denmark. The spoons are in original case. The spoons feature lovely, art-deco style pattern and a crown at the ends. The crowns finished with gold wash. Each spoon is marked with the makers mark. The case has sticker from Georg Jensen company, but perhaps this is where it was retailed. The spoons are made by W&S Sorensen. The spoons measure just over 4”L (approximately 4 1/8”). The weight of one spoon is about 9.98 gram - 6 spoons close to 60 gram in total. Condition: Four out of the six spoons have never been used and are still sealed in the original plastic cases. Two spoons have been taken out of cases. The spoons have patina. They never been polished (at least four of them because they are still sealed). The two spoons that are not sealed have some patina and minimal scratch marks. The original case has some wear on the exterior and loss of blue finish, some age related discoloration/staining on the silk lining.
