Description: cs2035 Network Protocol Server and Client Programs - Sources - for embedded systems developers This is a selection of source code distributions and related resources representing network protocol functionality. The emphasis is on servers that are suitable for use or adaptation, wholly or in part, to implement in firmware the network protocol functionality for network enabled devices. The packages are distributed in the form of compressed archives, and it is a assumed that the user will be prepared to expand these, as appropriate for his development platform. The packages include documentation in various degrees of thoroughness. These are the packages: Ethernut Embedded Ethernet - An resource for developing Embedded Ethernet applications. It works with AVR ATmega128, RTL8019AS, LAN91C111 and CS8900 chips with a tiny RTOS and TCP/IP stack including PPP, HTTP and DHCP. Support for ARM7TDMI, H8/300 and Motorola Coldfire is planned. It is a work in progress, and is distributed under the GNU Library or Lesser General Public License. dhcptool - A tool to support embedded ethernet-serial convertors. The package consists of a dhcp server and a GUI to configure it. It runs on windows systems and in Unix systems. The package runs on Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP and Linux/BSD/UNIX type systems. Written in C/C++. Distributed under the GNU General Public License. embedded^cl Tools - Embedded TCP/IP modules. Also Ethernet, and limited IP, UDP, TCP, and ICMP support (no IP fragmentation, no more than 1500 bytes per transaction), and a small HTTP server. This software is intended primarily to support embedded^cl tools, but can be of general use. Parts are written in Assembly Language, C, and Python. It is distributed under the GNU Library or Lesser General Public License. Supporting software for Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP and Linux/BSD/UNIX type systems. uC/IP - TCP/IP for microcontrollers - uC/IP is a small TCP/IP protocol stack developed in ANSI C for microcontrollers and embedded systems. It is based on BSD code, and distributed under the BSD License. Embedded TCP/IP Stack and Web Server - TCP/IP stack and Web Server code for 8051 and 6811 embedded systems, written in C. It is distributed under the GNU General Public License. Simple HTTPD - SHTTPD - An easy to use, small web server, suitable for embedded environments. It is written in C, and distributed under the MIT License. It runs on Windows and UNIX. SHTTPD. It is written in a single C source file, and compiles in both UNIX and Windows environments. It supports the following features: GET, POST, PUT, DELETE methods; CGI; SSL; MD5; Multiple user definable index files; Cookies; and User-definable mime types. SHTTPD uses no configuration files and has no external dependencies. Poptop - An open source implementation of a PPTP server. Running under x86 or embedded Motorola ColdFire architectures Poptop provides full interoperability with the Microsoft PPTP VPN client. It is written in C for Linux/BSD/UNIX environments, and runs as a Daemon. Poptop is distributed under the GNU General Public License. The Embedded Web Server - Designed for use in embedded systems with limited resources. It supports both static and dynamic pages. It is written in GCC Ada, and is distributed pursuant to the GNU General Public License.
