Description: This incredibly detailed, tiny wax figure is in excellent condition for its age, ? early 1900's. The family history passed down is that it was carried in a small box in a single suitcase when a family member emigrated to the U.S. from the Alsace region of France. It was that important to the owner! The whicker, woven cradle was added later to protect the delicate infant Jesus. The pieces are not attached, but could be by the buyer. A Gold thread could be looped through the creche to hold the wax figure on the cradle. And another piece looped through the top to create a hanger.
