Description: VTG WILCOX CRITTENDEN Marine Towing Mooring Bit Cleat 13lbs Original Iron This was salvaged some time ago by a military diver in the Boston, MA. area. Measures approx. 8.5"H and weighs 13lbs 4.7oz. Has "7 1/2" embossed on one side and "WC" on the other. Likely from the early to mid 20th century. I think it's made of iron (it is magnetic).
