Description: This vintage mid-century modern avocado green and turquoise drip glaze covered dish features a finial with 2 red apples and 3 leaves. It's marked on the bottom "CALIF USA" with incised letters. Both Wade of California and Maurice of California both produced very similar pieces. However, my best guess is it was probably made by Wade based on the font of the lettering on the bottom, the positioning of the leaves as well as the glaze. Wade of California was only on business for a couple of years, from 1965 to 1967. Measures approx. 5" high by 7 1/2" square and is in excellent condition, clean with no chips, cracks or repairs.
