Description: This vintage Steiff hand puppet features a gray and white tabby cat with the iconic Steiff Button In Ear. Made in Germany between 1946-1969, this antique puppet is made of high-quality mohair and is perfect for collectors. The puppet measures approximately 9 inches and is in good condition. This was a gift as a child from my aunt and uncle living in Germany so I believe it was made there. It’s been stored away for many years and now it’s time for someone to enjoy! See all photos for condition. No smells. The pink bow is original as you can see there in the photo. It is loosely stitched on. Also, for the first time I noticed a cream thread on the chest of the cat shown in the last photo. I’m not sure if it was used to hold a tag on it or something, but it is original, as far as I know. There is a small brown dot on the chest as shown photos it is very small and can be seen in the photo of the inside as well. I am no expert, but I have done my best to describe it. It really has an adorable cat face!
