The fan does have cosmetic wear, including some paint peeling from the bullet, the cage, and base. The blades seem to be in good condition. The lower-right quadrant of the cage (when facing the fan) appears to have a slight bend to it. There is a close-up view of this area in listing photo #4. I noticed the plug has some black electrical tape around it. I do not know if this was due to a previous repair or some other reason. The power cord does have some cracking to it but I do not see any exposed wires. The rubber-like strain relief piece that is attached to the bullet where the power cord enters has mostly worn and crumbled off. However, if an item has major functional problems, we'll sell it as "FOR PARTS/NOT WORKING" when that option is available. Manufacture's boxes or packaging may have damage on occasion, including bends, tears, and other cosmetic flaws. When possible, we will repair boxes. Any manufacture's packing that is not sealed, will have a safety seal applied to it by us after the listing photos are taken. We strive to accurately describe items and to take plenty of photos from different angles so you can clearly see what you are spending your hard-earned money on. We encourage you to view the listing photos and video (if available) so you can get a visual of what you are buying.
