HERE WE HAVE: A vintage enameled cast iron cookware piece with a lid! It is marked on the lid with "DOUFEU" and an "AC" logo on the top and a number 16 inside the lid. The pot is marked on the bottom with the same "AC" logo and another number 16. I believe the AC stands for a French enameled cookware company Cousances (which was later acquired by Le Creuset. CONDITION: Being sold as is, for parts or restoration! There are a decent amount chips to the enamel coating particularly to the top edge of the pot, but I don't see any breaks or cracks to the cast iron itself. The inside of the pot has corrosion spotting and is very scratched and stained. The exterior of the piece has little black spots scattered about.. some of these are stains but a lot of it can be scratched off.. The listing shows two photos where you can see a spot I scratched off with my fingernail. There's a lot of it though, and I don't have a good tool to get it all off without damaging the enamel (and it's too much for a fingernail!). The bottom has burnt on pieces, I cleaned off the larger pieces but there's still small burnt on bits there. General surface scratches, scuffs, and stains scattered throughout. Will come as shown, so please see photos! MEASUREMENTS: Whole piece, with the lid on measures approximately 15 1/4" long, 10" wide, and 6 1/2" tall including the handles. The base/pot piece measures about 10" x 8" inside the bottom (it gets wider as it nears the top) and about 4 1/2" deep in total. SHIPPING: Calculated.
