Description: Vintage 1978 TSR Dungeons & Dragons Fantasy RPG Basic Set (Purple) in Original Box. The Rules Booklet and is in very good+ vintage condition overall (no scribbled-on, torn or missing pages; the binding staples are not tarnished). The only significant ding on the B2 Module is the highlighting on the inside cover diagrams (see pic #12)...otherwise the module is clean (binding staples are tarnished, but no bleeding onto the page). The polyhedral dice set is not original to the set--but these dice are of a much higher quality than the originals. The box is poor with heavy 44-year wear and clear tape all around the sides...but the artwork still shows nicely (see pics #18-24). Perhaps not a set for the high-end collector, but a terrific set for the mid-level or novice collector.
