Description: Unusual Chambers Belt Company western buckle featuring a covered wagon and Texas stars. The wagon cover is more in the shape of a chuck wagon than their typical Conestoga wagon buckles. Also, there are no cattle/ranch brands depicted on this buckle which seem to be on the majority of their other wagon buckles. My aunt went to work for Chambers shortly after we moved to Phoenix in 1959, so this buckle is from the early 60s. It's been in my mom's drawer for around 60 years.It is stamped, "Chambers Belt Co. Phoenix, AZ Nickel Silver" on the back side. Buckle is 3 inches long and 2 inches wide, for a 1.5 inch belt. Works for youth or adult, cowboy or cowgirl.Celebrate the National Day of the Cowboy on the 4th Saturday in July.
