Description: This lovely candle stand is a product of the Westmoreland Glass Company that was founded in 1899 in Grapeville, Pennsylvania. The company had a very successful history producing glass for almost a century, with the majority of production between 1924 and 1984. Made of a striking bright green frosted, or satin glass, this candle stand measures approximately 5” in height with a 3 ½” opening and a 3” base. The company’s blue and silver foil label is attached to the foot of the stand showing it to be an authentic handmade piece from the Westmoreland Glass Company. Also, the “WG” company logo is embossed on the base. In spite of few scratches this stunning candle stand is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, discolorations or any evidence of damage or flaws. This candle stand would make a lovely Christmas candle decoration but could also be used year round. Note: Candle and holly are not included.
