Description: Vintage Hand Painted WATT POTTERY "American Red Bud" Mixing Bowl, Bean Pot & Bean Cups. Each piece is priced individually. NOTE: This pattern is also referred to as "Teardrop" by some collector's as the pattern names were not made by Watt Pottery, but collectors. Pattern Description: Tan Background, Red Bud Flowers, Brown Branches, Green Leaves Discontinued. Actual: 1957 - ? Company history: The Watt Pottery started in 1922 was operated by the Watt family of Perry County, Ohio. The pottery was started on the site of the old Burley Pottery factory in Crooksville, Ohio. Watt Pottery remained in business from 1922 to 1965 when the factory was destroyed by fire and never rebuilt. Condition: Very good vintage condition with signs of previous use and wear. The Bean cups have moderate crazing. Mixing bowl has a small rim chip. See individual item descriptions below. See photos.
