Description: I have for bids, a vintage USA Rawlings Stan Musial PMM Autograph, “The Playmaker” baseball glove in excellent, lightly played with condition. I believe this 3-finger glove was manufactured in 1954 (70 years ago), as there are no heel laces, has the older Rawlings patch with St. Louis under the Rawlings named and a single “X” anchored web. Leather is still soft and pliable, with no rips, tears, holes, or cracks. Rawlings patch is very nice and secure. Rolled leather piping and Rawlings brass button are also very nice. All leather lacing is complete and in excellent condition, as are all brown metal eyelets, that are solid and complete. “The Playmaker” is stamped on the inside pinky and “Stan the Man” “Stan Musial” and “Autograph” stamped in the palm area. Also stamped Rawlings, and PMM on the glove’s heel. Inside is fully leather lined with no rips, tears, holes, cracks, or chaffing. Feels great on the hand!! Stan Musial played 22 years, from 1941-1963 all for the St. Louis Cardinals. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1969. Picture comes with glove for display.
