Description: Vintage Rocking Horse Bottle Glass Jar Collectible 1940s. Rare vintage rocking horse candy container. It is very well made with lots of detail. The first candy containers were shaped like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell in celebration of the centennial Exposition in 1876 in Philadelphia according to collector Betty McDuff. By the early 1900s, candy containers were mass produced. Measures approximately 6 3/4" Tall and 5 1/4" wide. Excellent Pre-owned condition.
