Description: I’m pretty sure that this dress was made in the 1950’s to celebrate the 1959 Oregon centennial. It has wide pagoda sleeves with 3 rows of lace. This type of sleeve was common in the 1850’s. Small interesting metal-look plastic buttons down the front to the waist. The round little buttons have a gold design swirling over a dark green background with a small daisy with green, blue, and red petals. The buttons have 1/2": diameter. Metal side zip at the waist. Full gathered long skirt. The bodice does come down to a slight "V" at the center front. The fabric is a pretty gray calico with pink/red roses floral design. It is a very sturdy cotton calico. There are yards and yards of fabric in this dress due to the long gathered skirt. There are 2 triangular gores in the back of the skirt to increase the back fullness. Skirt hem measures over 200 inches! Dress is very well made by a talented seamstress with machine stitching and hand stitching details - buttonholes are hand sewn. Hem is machine stitched and still very nice and intact. Please add a couple inches ease to measurements as this woven fabric does not stretch. Bust 42" Waist 36" To of front shoulder to waist 18" Shoulder seam to shoulder seam 18" Waist to hem measured from side 38"
