Description: Vintage RCA Institutes Oscilloscope Unit is in excellent condition. I plugged it in and it lights up. Unfortunately, I have no knowledge about or way to test this item for functionality. The knobs turn freely and are not broken or cracked. Could use a good cleaning. See photos. About the previous owner:This item, like all the others I post, is from my Dad's (NR2J) vast collection of HAM radio equipment. He amassed his collection over the 55 years he was a HAM by attending innumerable HAMfests, swap meets and likely from his radio club buddies as well. My sweet father departed this world September 2019 after being diagnosed with, the unrelenting, ALS/Lou Gehrig's Disease, only a year prior. It is in his memory, that I seek to find good homes for each of his beloved pieces. To read more on my Dad his obituary can be found by googling his call sign. Disclaimer:Because I am not a HAM, I am unable to fully test the equipment aside from plugging them in and powering on, if possible. I will happily test something, at your direction, or provide more photos should you need additional information. I have done my best to provide clear images of the body and interior of the radio, but I cannot confidently say that all components work as they should. All radios come from a smoke free home and will be packaged lovingly for shipment.
