Vintage Pedigree 1978 #1000 SINDY Fashion Doll 11" MARX Toys made in Hong Kong

Description: Vintage SINDY Fashion Doll #1000 by Marx Toys, 1978 MARXThis Pedigree doll has wavy and curly blonde hair, with big blue eyes and "real" eyelashes. Manufactured in Hong Kong during the 1980s. Look carefully at the photos. I haven't seen this doll since I placed it in storage ages ago (as a pre-teen). When I tried to take off her dress, I found that it was stuck and I had to pry it off. It looks as if the glue in her joints has melted (?) This made the dress stick (it's not sticking any more). It also makes her arm and leg joints fixed in place. When you look at the photos, you'll see black markings at the joint--that's fibers from the dress. You will also see tan/yellow spots--that's the melted glue. Since the arms are bendable and flexible, they still move. The hands & wrists are in perfect condition and can move in many directions. Also included: A second original dress for Sindy. The dress she's wearing has both original snaps intact, but I cut out the fragile (it feels paper-like) "Made in Hong Kong" tag.The second dress has the "Made in Hong Kong" tag and has both original snaps, except the bottom snap needs to have its female end re-sewn.
