Description: I have found a very unusual, Thomas Chubb, bamboo fly rod, 9.0-ft. 3-piece, 2-tips, with three stars.All nickel silver hardware, all 5-ferrules are pinned and fit, slide band reel seat, with a hook keeper.The mortising runs through to the reel seat, has a rattan grip with fine silver wire wrapped in groves.Comes with a brown agate stripper guide, Tan or light Chestnut wraps throughout the rod.This rod has a heavy brown four place bag, with beautiful, laminated wood storage tube with trout label. I can't find one flaw in the whole package, even the finish, wraps, and decals are perfect. I'm not an expert on fishing rods but I know good stuff when I see it.I found this rod at an estate sale that turned into a bidding war.
