Description: Vintage 1960’s Landers Frary & Clark Universal Thermos Bottle Picnic set. Set includes plaid carrying bag, 2 glass lined vacuum bottles & sandwich box. Made in New Britain, Conn., U.S.A. One bottle has a "Thermos" cork stopper and four cups. The other bottle is a wide mouth type (often used for hot soup or stew) with one cup and the patented "Snap-Tite" adjustable stopper. Used condition as shown in pictures. Minor surface rust at base of thermoses and box. Plaid vinyl bag, while still attractive and usable, is stiff and shows some wear and tear.
