I powered up slowly with a Variac to help reform the 50-60 year old components. I have chosen not to open her up or even brush off the dust. This would be a great rustic addition to your collection that still works. WARNING! Upon examining the schematic, the amp May contain a Dangerous Capacitor: C8, unless amp has been modified. If that cap fails, you could be Electrocuted.For this reason I am DISCONNECTING the A/C PLUG.The amp will work when a Qualified Electronics Tech reconnects the plug.I highly suggest Removing C8, the "death cap" and replacing the cable with a 3 conductor Grounded Plug.When you purchase this amp, I Will Not Ship until I receive a Message stating that you have Read this Warning and understand the dangers of a 1960's era amplifier.If Desired, I will be glad to remove the cap and replace the stock cable with a 3 prong Grounded cable.
