This celluloid button was created in support of the presidential campaign of John F. Kennedy. On a white background, a black-and-white photo of JFK from the shoulders up is printed in the center of the button. Kennedy is smiling and looking directly at the viewer. Above his image in text is printed For President. The button has a muted border along the perimeter of the bottom, half of the Button, with” John F Kennedy”. The button is hallmarked on the label side. I. P.E.U., which stands for international photo engravers union 885! The button is in very good, original, used, vintage condition with traces of history and well proportioned character. Wear is consistent with age and use.
