Description: A striking Japanese wood block print by Takahashi Hiroaki (Shotie) (1871-1945) shows majestic mount Fuji in the distance as twilight settles on the village of Mizukubo in the foreground. The print is on mulberry paper and mounted on paperboard. It dates from the 1930s and retains the artists marks on the lower left and right. It is in the original frame. Please read the condition below and see the photos for more details. Condition: The print is in fair condition. The print retains good color but with some fading and foxing at the very edges. The original borders have been trimmed but leaving the image intact. The print is mounted on paperboard which appears to have been exposed to moisture as the reverse looks water stained. The painted wood frame is in original good condition however we replaced the frame's paper backing and affixed the original shop tag to preserve this provenance. Please see the photos.
