The Pont de la Tournelle over the Seine river is on the left. Figures are strolling along the sidewalks. It is signed “J.B.” and dated “46” (1946). This watercolor was executed on heavy woven paper created by the famous French paper company, Moulin d’Arches, as shown by the impressed mark (“Véritable Papier Torchon d’Arches”) on the paper. This piece is in very good condition with the exception of slight warping of the paper. Please refer to the detailed photos on this page.
