Description: Here is a lovely 1960s solid Cream and Sugar set. It’s Franciscan Earthenware in the Hacienda Pattern of GOLD on an off-white lightly speckled base with embossed rings. The sugar bowl base and creamer have a gold and tan geometric band. The creamer has a thick gold band ringing the base and the sugar lid and bowl below-rim are gold. The creamer stands 4.25” tall with a 14-ounce capacity, and weighs 9 oz. The sugar bowl measures 3.5" to the top of the lid handle knob. It weighs 13.6 oz with a rim diameter of 4.5". This dinnerware pieces are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing or utensil marks. The lid has a glaze skip and a bubble pop. See last photo for these tiny manufacturing flaws.This pattern was produced in California from 1965 to 1983 after Gladding, McBean & Co. merged with Lock Pipe & Joint Company to eventually be named Interpace.The bottom maker’s mark reads “Franciscan Earthenware, Interpace, Made in USA, Oven Safe, Color Fast”. Also with 3664 on the creamer, and 46-72 on the sugar bowl. Thanks for looking.
