Description: Evening in Paris Bourjois.NY Gift Set. Original gift boxed set of Colone and Eau de Toilette in the Cobalt Blue bottles on a satin(?) lining. The maker between the 1940s to 1950s was Bourjois Inc. and the Cobalt Blue bottles were designed by Jean Helleu. This gift set contains a 4"x 1.57", .50 FL. oz. of Colone (full), Eau de Toilette that is 3.75" x 1.75", .50 FL. oz. (full) and a small 2"x 1" Eau de Toilette that appears to have evaporated. The Box is Gold and Cobalt Blue patterened, the approximate size is 7"x 5.25" x 1.25". All sizes are approximates.According to New York Antiques: Silver curved label on cobalt glass: in the 1930s, bottle appeared with this curved label, later on in the 1950s. Silver rectangle labels on cobalt bottles: during the 1940s. Gold screw caps: date your bottle to after late 1940s and into the 1950s. Note: the older a Colone or Eau de Toilette, with time the fragrance will change somewhat from the scent remembered. After approximately three years they start to loose their "freshness". To the best of my knowledge this is all correct.
