Description: Hello. I am so pleased to be offering a handsome Betty Lou Nichols (BLN) Eggbert egg head vase from my own personal collection. He is extremely hard to find, especially in such good condition. He is highly sought after by and coveted among new and seasoned collectors alike. He is the only one exactly like him currently for sale on ebay. I am selling Eggbert's female companion Henrietta in a separate ebay listing (item #166653800136). The last photo shows how great they look displayed together. Eggbert has no cracks, scratches, paint loss, or repairs. He is immaculate on the outside except on the bottom; there is some residue remaining there from once present felt strips. His inside is mostly clean with just a bit of dust on the very bottom. He is a heavy vase, made of ceramic. He is in excellent vintage condition. Eggbert has two small and one tiny chips, all on the bottom near the base edge. The small ones can just barely be seen from the back. The tiny chip is in about the "2 o'clock" position and is very slightly visible from the front. He has clear crazing throughout, typical of BLN pieces, but it is less noticeable on the green and black areas. These relatively minor issues in no way detract from the vase's overall attractiveness. Please disregard the appearance of any white spots which are due to camera glare. Eggbert's dimensions are 9" h x 6-1/2" w x 6-1/2" d. The bottom is signed Eggbert by Betty Lou Nichols along with the artist's initial M. The vase displays beautifully and is sure to make you smile.
