Description: Set of 3 vintage kutani eggshell porcelain Japanese handpainted demitasse or tea cups. They are unmarked but I am guessing they were made in the mid-20th century. They have a typical scene of a geisha girl surrounded by flowers with a man sort of hanging out in the background also. The color palette is traditional with rust, green, pink and gold details. These cups measure 2 1/4" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter across the top and are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, which is pretty remarkable considering how delicate this porcelain is. There is also minimal wear to the painting. All in all, this is a charming set which would make a very nice display if you love Asian collectibles!
