Tag inside hat written in Russian.Made of several parts - forehead, crown, and ear flaps - that are sewed together. Interior is lined. The flaps are secured with a drawstring and will flap down to cover ears.Taken from another website: "Ushankas worn by the Russian and former Soviet soldiers were often made from artificial fur. Army officer Ushanka hats are made from mouton or sheepskin (lambskin).
