Vintage Custom Fender Telecaster Frankenstein(d) Bass Guitar

Description: Hello hello and welcome to TwoBitBuys!!! Today we have for sale this amalgamation of a Bass. The neck is a Fender Strat which seems to be all the OG hardware. I took this to guitar center for testing, it sounds amazing and all of the knobs and inputs work. I’m not an aficionado just a reseller. These are the opinions of two other friends of mine. “This I believe is what we call a “Frankenstein” build. I believe the neck may be real Fender I’m not aware of Fender building a “ Thin Line” body though, that is a bass body with a soundhole . Someone glued the neck on and eliminated the neck mounting plate. And also filled the. “ through body bridge “style and added a top mount bridge. How does it play? Do you want to keep it, or were you just looking to find out the value of it .If it’s a good player, I would just keep it for what it is, not worth a great amount financially, but if it plays nice it’s OK. If that is an original fender neck, the bass will be worth at least what the neck is worth. And then that depends where the neck is made ,if it’s a USA neck, Mexican built or Asian built. That is going to be pretty hard to find out where the neck is made, as it’s glued in the pocket.” The guitar weighs 7.4lbs and the aluminum case is made my CNB “From tom: Ok.. it’s cool, but a little bizarre as well.. 1. Fender Telecaster Bass neck has been grafted onto a Telecaster GUITAR body… 2. Custom built, but looks a little amateurish judging by the way the string and neck holes have been filled and the way the body was recarved to fit the neck 3. Looks like all good components, neck, pickup, switches, etc” So, take it for what it’s worth and please use the pictures as part of the description. This is sold as is as I cannot find any serial numbers l. Also unknown origin. The case is included and it does look pretty nifty hanging on the wall. Imagine this in your man cave or music room?
