Vintage circa 1950s Royal Stetson Size 7 1/8 Classic Grey Fedora Homburg

Description: About this Item: Stylish 1950s Royal Stetson fur-felt fedora. I'm not an expert, but this might actually be a homburg. The hat is marked size 7-1/8 US. The color is grey but in bright light the color has a tint of green. The leather sweatband is marked with a crown logo and "John B. Stetson ROYAL STETSON" on one side and "PHILLIPSON'S WARSAW IND." on the other side. The hat has a 2" dimensional brim (measured on the underside of the brim from the sweatband reed to the brim edge). The crown is 5" (4" as creased) with a 2" grosgrain ribbon and bow. The felt looks nearly new with no visible staining. The interior, including the liner and leather sweatband, looks nearly mint. The ribbon does show minor wear/damage as shown in the photos (the worst spot is shown in the last photo). If you replaced the ribbon, this would look like a new hat. The felt has a nice hand and shapes easily. I'm estimating the date based on the style, model and logo style.
