Description: Beautiful vintage signed Catherine Popesco, France, Victorian revival style brooch. The designer used antique molds to create her vintage look pieces. This one features an ornate base with a thin layer of gold with black accents and tiny crystal stones to make it sparkle. It is covered in clear enamel and the crystal stones are bezel set. The brooch measures 1-7/8" long by 7/8" tall. Brooch is in excellent condition. See images to assess condition. Roll type clasp functions nicely. It has a natural patina on the back side. This is normal since she used a specific technology of using gold on silver with copper metals in her pieces. The clear enamel is nice and clear with no scratches.
