Description: Vintage Casio 101 MR electronic calculator with original box, soft case and instruction manual, circa 1974 Calculator: the display is 10 digit blue VFD with an extra symbol cluster to the far left for negative, memory and constant indicators. Made in Japan by Casio Computer Co. Measures approx. 4 1/2" x 6" x 1 1/2". Uses 4 AA batteries (not included) or adaptor/charger (not included). Condition - the screen has a few light scratches, the body has some minor scuffs & scratches and the battery coils have a little corrosion on them (probably can be cleaned off); the keys are quite pronounced, and must be pushed fully and carefully. I used it for about 1/2 hour and once I hit the 5 key and a 3 displayed (couldn't get it to repeat that), once I hit the 7 and two 7s displayed and a couple times I had to push the 3 multiple times for it to display. It is being sold AS IS. Case: soft black plastic with top flaps that close with a snap. It has Casio embossed on the front and Made in Japan on the back. In good condition (the flaps are creased from storage). Instruction manual: complete, good condition (page 6 & the back cover have rust stains from a paper clip). Box: in fair condition: has a piece of old scotch tape on the top & one side, has light soiling, edge/corner/surface wear crush damage on one corner, a few small tears, one corner seam has separated and there's pen writing on one side.
