Description: Iconic 1970’s Bucilla large sunflower framed crewel. Whoever stitched this did an amazing job and it has survived the decades in great condition. Unlike most (all) examples I have seen this one is done in a pale green for the sunflower petals and vibrant greens throughout. Not sure if this was an alternative kit that was available or choices made by the stitcher, but it’s lovely. There are several small spots scattered throughout and one spot of what I believe is water damage on the lower right corner. Please examine all the pictures for these issues. Aside from that the yarn work has been beautifully done and is in fantastic shape with no pulls or broken yarn. The frame has a couple small nicks which are also pictured and the backing paper has a tear. Kept in a smoke free home!
