Description: Vintage late 1928/29 beautiful LC Smith & Corona typewriter model 8 - 14 serial number 862551-14. Very nice typewriter and in nice working condition. The serial number dates this typewriter in the late 1928/29 era. It has a black luster enamel finish in very good condition considering it is 95+ years old. Very nice black keyboard with chrome rings In good condition. Graphics are very nice. The typewriter types very well. Keys strike and return and carriage advances as it should as you type. The paper feed works, new ribbon, ribbon feed good, tab, margin sets move easily, chrome good, margin release, back space, original feet. It has been reasonably cleaned and serviced. Looks great. The Margin set on the left side as you type doesn’t engage properly, so it has been repaired to be set at a fixed stop, approximately 1 inch from the left margin. Please no PO Box. The pictures are good to view for overall condition. The typewriter measures 18 1/2” x 14 3/4” x 8 3/4”. Please review all pictures as they are a large part of the description. Being sold as is.
