Description: Offered for sale a vintage Bauhaus Poster advertising an Architectural Trade Show in 1922. The poster is black & gold against a white background. The poster is linen backed & originally had the times & place of the show written on the bottom, but this has been cut off. (See last photo.) It was cut at a slight angle. This is an extremely rare poster, I have seen a ticket from this show which had the times & address written below the male image, so I presume this poster was the same, but I am not sure, I have never seen this poster before. It is framed in a grooved black wood Art Deco style frame. The frame measures 28" high x 271/2" wide, the actual poster inside the 1 1/2" matte is 26 1/2" x 26" it is in good condition, there old fold marks that are touched up, minor dirty marks. NOT a reproduction, original. It is under plexi glass which makes it hard to photograph because of the reflection. Guaranteed to be as described or it can be returned for a full refund.
