Description: Vintage Arthur L. Johnson Co. Boston Maroon Novelty Tie Horse’s Rear 3.5” x 55”. Woven maroon fabric with tan and white rear ends of horses in a diagonal line pattern. Lined with smooth off-white fabric. Labeled Arthur L. Johnson Co. Boston, which was located at 180 Devonshire Street. The store originally sold sporting goods and by the 1920’s had added clothing. I believe the business was still operating into the 1980’s. Not labeled for fabric content. 3.5” x 55” long. Pre-owned vintage humorous novelty tie in good condition, some general wear throughout, some yellowing of lining, no holes. Please see photos for details.
