Description: In wonderful vintage condition, this pin is signed on back Alva Museum Replicas, and there are the initials “SI” on the back as well; which stands for the Smithsonian Institute. The pin measures approximately 1 3/8” long. It has a yellow gold plated color and the eyes look like they are actually slightly different in color. This might be a replica of an early ancient Inca type piece of jewelry. The pin on the back and clasp work perfectly. Not sure if it is a frog or some other kind of lizard, you be the judge of that. In beautiful vintage condition.
