Description: This is a vintage sculpture figure made by Alva Studios in 1955. It is a replica of a statue in the Louvre Museum in Paris. It depicts an ancient Egyptian scribe by the name of Nebmerutef from 1370 B. C. ready to take dictation from Pharaoh. It is marked with "Alva Studios" on the side of the sculpture and the date of 1955. There is a remnant of a label at the bottom of the base, but it is almost completely worn off. The sculpture is in good condition for its age; surface wear, scratching, but nothing major - please see photos for detail.
