Description: This is a vintage doll dating to late 1940s early 1950s. She is dressed in the regional costume of Valdres, Norway.., made by the artist Ronnaug Petterssen . Norway . Made of felt with cloth costume which is detailed with embroidered flowers to skirt, hat and bodice . Her face is a pressed mask with painted eyes slightly looking sideways .Spun blond hair. Size 7.5” in She is in very good vintage condition. There is some discoloration to the material on her arms, common for age. There is also a small area at the bottom of her apron where the material looks like It has thinned out creating a slight hole. Please see the photo for a visual description.
