Description: Up for purchase is this vintage 1948 TrueTone Model D3840 AC/DC AM Tube Radio From Western Auto. Chassis was removed and cleaned, the cabinet was cleaned and the covering was reconditioned. Shows some age and wear to the finish but really looks nice overall. Radio was tested with AC and is working; I do not have a battery to test the DC function. Radio brought in multiple stations. I would recommend having the unit serviced by a tube radio tech to give it a tune up. Includes a Photofact Folder spec sheet with parts list, descriptions and schematic.
