Description: A lovely very vintage velveteen dressmaker's fabric. Dates to the 1940s, and comes from a dressmaker's estate. Lush cotton velveteen in a rich color of a sort of mahogany brown, leaning to a russet shade. Selvages intact on both sides, the piece measures 44" wide and is 38" long. Medium weight.
