Features old-fashioned, "fine dining" recipes, such as lamb croquettes, jellied aspic, potatoes hashed in cream, London tea cookies, cheese souffle, and Welsh rarebit. The interior is tight and clean. The covers are in generally fine shape, with some light wear at the tips, a touch of foxing (spotting) on the back cover, and minor flaws to the title label.
