Vint. Custom 1970 SELMER Bundy Alto Sax w/Orig.Case & White Vint. Mpc.- AMAZING!

Description: Vintage 1970 Custom SELMER Bundy Alto Sax with Original Case & Vintage White Mouthpiece. Sax Serial #522098. This unique Selmer Bundy alto has been cleaned and *adjusted, and plays great with a smooth, clear tone on the included vintage white mouthpiece. This is an easy blowing alto. Pads, corking and felts have been replaced where needed with existing pads in good to very good condition. Springs do show quick response. Custom wise, I left the body with the little bit of lacquer that was left on it. I then proceeded to work on the inner bell, key guards, post tops, and many other areas - giving them a matte brush brass look. The contrast between the matte body and the brassy accented areas turned out to be very attractive and "cool". These bare brass areas have been lightly clear lacquered to preserve their appearance. There are no major dents, just a few mild dings on the bow. The emblem on the bell is an inverted "Ukranian" symbol. I use it to mark the custom work that I do. I found it quite angelic and almost spiritual when inverted. May I say, it's hard to find any alto with such a beautiful non-lacquered/colorful look. Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder. The original case is sturdy and clean with no smells. Included with the case are a new red microfiber polishing cloth, a vintage (unique) neck strap, 2 extra cane reeds, a vintage white end plug, and the vintage white mouthpiece w/ligature, cap, and new Rico Plasticover reed.
