Vinatge Gibson Les Paul Studio 1986 signed by The Band Molly Hatchet

PLEASE READ THE ADD AND ASK ALL QUESTIONS PRIOR TO PURCHASE !!!!!!!!!!!!!*** ACCORDING TO GUITAR DATER IT WAS MADE IN NASHVILLE, TN ON 11-30-86, PRODUCTION #110**** This listing is for a Gibson Les Paul Studio Guitar made in 1986, THE GUITAR HAS BEEN AUTOGRAPHED BY THE BAND "MOLLY HATCHET in the year 2000 when they toured through my home town ". THE BAND MEMBERS IN THE YEAR 2000 were Bobby Ingram, Phil McCormack, Andy McKinney, Mike Owings and Sean Shannon. ALL SIGNATURES ARE ON THE GUITAR ... IT ALSO HAS "HELL YEAH" AND MOLLY HATCHET 2000 ON IT. The serial number is stamped a little lower on this guitar as some of them are. It does have some nicks and scratches on it due to age. There are several things that have been changed out. Here is a list of the details that I know of about the guitar: The tuning keys have been replaced/upgraded with Schaller M6 Mini Top-locking Tuners, the pickups have been changed/upgraded to EMG active pickups there is a 9 volt battery located inside the back plate where the pods are located (see pics), The 4 pods looks original (see pics), not sure if the toggle switch is original or not, the input jack I'm sure has been replaced. It has been wired up so that when the toggle switch is in the up position the front pick up works , when in the middle position the front pick up and back pickup, when the toggle switch is in the bottom position the back pickup works, The tone switces to me doesn't change much when turning tone knobs up or down (maybe its wired this way (I do not know ) buyer may need to make adjustments here. The pickups seem strong. The pickup rings and back plates have been changed, it has no pick-guard, not sure the strap buttons are original, not sure if the fret board is rosewood or ebony, I took a pic of fret board at the 12th fret to help someone identify the wood on the fret board, from looking at the back of the neck in the pic up by the head stock you can see were it is a shade of green, I believe this was a green color at at one time, they made a few green LP's about the year it was built also the head stock looks to be a dark shade of green, Its hard to see since its vintage. I think the guitar body was a shade of green at one time, it looks to me like it has been striped back to natural, I can tell it has a coat of gloss on it, I think this might of been before the signatures, it looks like it was signed with a sharpie and on a few places were it was signed you can see a little smug area in the finish (not bad ) see pics of the top of guitar, I think I would put a clear coat on it to protect the signatures from smearing while playing, or frame the Guitar on a wall as a collectible, it is a really good player does not fret out anywhere on the neck and the action is nice and low, it does show wear as it has been a well played guitar, but it's in good condition for it's age, please see pics for all details. I'll be glad to send more pics if needed, it comes with a FREE padded FLIGHT case (not a perfect fit but will protect it). Over all a very good playing guitar !! If someone wants it without the signatures I'm sure they can be removed but may take a little work.
