Description: Very unusual Italian hand blown glass ashtray. This piece is unlike any that I have seen before. It is larger than any other and it has more different vibrant colors in it than most. It also has areas of metallic pieces. Some are golden and others are copper in hue. Most of the surface is highly polished but there are areas where some carving or grinding is evident. The back of the piece is solid black and shiny as well. It is really a gorgeous piece of mid century art work that even someone who wasn’t a collector of glass art would enjoy as a bright color spot in their decor
