Sews very smoothly as can be seen in the video. Came out of a table but can be easily used on a table top as is or installed into another singer table. Sews denim and leather with ease. One of the best of the best for quilting. Once you've tried a 201, you'll understand why the queen of England owned one. These are simply one of the best vintage Singers. Brand new bobbin tire. Motor brushes have excellent life left as can be seen in the pictures (one is the top brush and the other is the lower brush). Much like many or perhaps all vintage Singers, during bobbin winding, the needle bar may still move up and down slightly with the clutch fully loosened. If this is a nuisance, the solution is to hold the take up still and start the machine slowly. Typically it will stop the movement.
