It’s made from 1960’s Space Age materials that the re-entry capsules used to come back home to earth. The pipe had quite a following in its time and now the pipe shows a good collectible mix of pipe smokers using it today. The original stem is connected with an O-Ring on the tenon that fits the stem tight and flush and has light chatter.
