The Optimum model is quickly becoming the go to mouthpiece for classical and general use. This is an excellent quality mouthpiece that is made of ebonite, also known as hard rubber, not plastic. It has undercut flat inner side walls, and a small round chamber. This mouthpiece is in excellent used condition. The tip, table, and side rails are perfectly smooth. There is light scratching, but no tooth indentations, on the beak. The rubber is still black and shiny, and the logo/markings are not worn. This mouthpiece has been cleaned/sanitized.
