Made to be 100% waterproof with Gore-Tex fabric and heavy duty YKK zippers it is tough enough to handle abusive weather. A Bivy cover is made to keep you both dry and warmer while sleeping outside your tent by acting as an additional heat barrier during winter and vent-able during the warmer months.
